Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Via The BigSchool, we want you to be fully confident before you commit. This policy clearly defines your rights and our obligations regarding refunds, cancellations, and batch changes.

Refund Eligibility

  • You are eligible for a full refund if you request it at least 48 hours before the official course start date and time.
  • Refund requests made within 45 days of payment may be considered only if the student has not attended any live class/session of the enrolled course.
  • Joining the course WhatsApp group, receiving course updates, or accessing onboarding information will not affect refund eligibility.
  • Once a student attends any live session/class, no refund will be issued.
  • Refund requests submitted after 45 days from the payment date will not be accepted.

How to Request a Refund

  • Email viathebigschool@gmail.com with subject: "Refund Request — [Your Name] — [Course Name]". Include your registered mobile number and payment transaction ID.
  • We will acknowledge within 2 business days and process the refund within 45 days of approval.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, card, etc.).

EMI / Instalment Plans

  • If you enrolled on an EMI plan and request a refund within the eligible window, only the amount paid so far will be refunded. Pending instalments will be cancelled.
  • Any payment gateway or bank charges deducted at source may not be included in the refund amount.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • If the refund request is submitted less than 48 hours before the official course start date and time.
  • If you have attended one or more live sessions/classes of the enrolled course.
  • If your enrolment has been cancelled due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions.
  • If the course was purchased under a promotional or special offer explicitly marked as "non-refundable."

Batch Rescheduling & Cancellation by Us

If we reschedule a batch, you will be offered a seat in the next available batch at no extra cost. If we cancel a batch entirely and cannot offer an alternative, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of attendance. Individual session cancellations will be rescheduled as make-up classes and do not qualify for a refund.

Course Transfer

If you wish to switch to a different course before the batch begins, we will accommodate the transfer wherever possible. Any fee difference will be charged or refunded accordingly. Transfers are not permitted after the first session.

Refund Processing Timeline

  • Day 0: Refund request submitted via email.
  • Within 5 business days: Your request will be acknowledged and reviewed for eligibility.
  • Once approved: The refund process will be initiated to your original payment method.
  • Refund completion timeline: The refunded amount may take up to 45 days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
